Katie is a two time collegiate All-American in track & field and is fluent in sign language. She attended James Madison University where she earned her Bachelors in Health Sciences and went on to earn her Masters degree in Athletic Training from Merrimack College. Katie specializes in manual therapy, athlete assessment, and return to sport training. Her certifications include: Anatomical Dry Needling: Upper & Lower Extremity, Complete Concussion Management Institute Certified, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist. Katie gained her clinical experience through working in a physical therapy clinic for 7 years as well as Athletic Training internship experience at James Madison University, Reading High School, Gallaudet University for the Deaf, and the Pingree School. She was the high school Athletic Trainer for Winchester High School for 2 years and has worked with US Figure Skating for competition athletic training coverage. Katie's primary passion is optimizing athlete, she enjoys working with athletes from all sports as well as non-traditional sports such as figure skating and Brazilian jiu jitsu. When she isn't working with athletes, Katie is enjoys figure skating, running, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!
